Buy Social is a live selling and social commerce platform that lets you sell products in real time on Facebook, your own branded webstore, and your mobile app. During a liveshow, customers simply comment "buy" followed by a product code, size, and color to add items to their cart automatically. On your webstore and mobile app, customers can also tap to buy directly without commenting.
Getting started is easy. Sign up for a free 7-day trial — no credit card required. Our guided setup walks you through answering a few questions about your business, and we automatically build your back-store. From there, you configure your warehouse, connect a shipping provider (Shippo or ShipStation), link your Stripe account for payments, and you're ready to add products and go live.
No, you don't need a Shopify store to use Buy Social. The platform includes its own product catalog, webstore, and checkout. However, if you do have a Shopify store, Buy Social offers a true two-way sync — products, inventory, and orders stay in sync between both platforms automatically.
During a liveshow, an overlay displays each product's name, sizes, colors, and product code (e.g., 101). Customers comment "buy 101 XL white" on Facebook or Instagram Live, and Buy Social automatically replies to the comment and sends the customer a Messenger notification with a direct checkout link. The checkout is mobile-optimized and supports Apple Pay and Google Pay for fast purchasing. On the Buy Social webstore and mobile app, customers can also just tap the product to add it to their cart.
You can sell live on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok (available on Startup plan and above), and your own Buy Social-powered webstore. The webstore is included with all paid plans. Business and Enterprise plans also include a fully branded mobile app published under your own developer accounts on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Each liveshow can run for up to 8 hours. The platform supports one concurrent stream per store and can handle over 100 concurrent streams across the platform (one per customer store). There's no limit on the number of products you can feature per show — product codes start at 101 and increment from there.
Buy Social includes built-in behavioral analytics that go far beyond basic sales dashboards. You get session recordings that let you watch how customers browse and interact with your store, heatmaps showing where customers tap and click most, and automatic detection of behavioral signals like frustration clicks, dead clicks, and quick exits. You also get full funnel visibility from product view to purchase, cart abandonment insights, and customer-level journey tracking. These tools are included with every plan at no extra cost.
Buy Social offers three paid plans: Startup at $99/month (20 hours of liveshows, 5,000 users, 1 warehouse), Business at $299/month (50 hours of liveshows, 50,000 users, 3 warehouses), and Enterprise with custom pricing for high-volume sellers (unlimited liveshows and users). All paid plans start with a free 7-day trial — no credit card required.
The Startup plan includes a 5% commission on sales. The Business plan includes a 4% commission. Enterprise plans start at a 3% commission, with volume discounts available for high-GMV sellers. The commission is in addition to the monthly subscription fee. Standard payment processing fees from Stripe also apply separately.
Yes. Buy Social offers a 7-day free trial that includes 3 liveshows of up to 30 minutes each, comment-to-cart on all platforms, basic analytics, Shopify sync, and email support. No credit card is required to start your trial.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel, you'll continue to have access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period. There are no cancellation fees or long-term contracts on Startup and Business plans.
